A 12-year-old female with a 10-year history of multiple joint enlargement and associated functional limitations was referred to our rheumatology clinic. Pelvic radiographs demonstrated square iliac wings, irregular acetabular roof, reduced hip joint spaces and large capital femoral epiphyses (Figure 1D). She reported mild hip pain in motion and declined fever, skin rash and morning stiffness.
