- Abstract
The article reports that the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic has resulted in hospitals being burdened with large volumes of admissions. Topics include considered however, hospitalisations for myocardial infarction were reported to have reduced throughout Europe and the United States of America; and examines incidence of STEMI cases increased in February to May 2019 to across the same period in 2020.
