- Abstract
A healthy four-year-old boy presented with new haemorrhagic skin lesions on his thighs and left flank (upper left image). Several hours following treatment initiation, the skin lesion progression ceased, and laboratory tests improved. Laboratory investigations showed a normal full blood count, C-reactive protein (CRP) was 27 mg/l (normal <0-5), prothrombin time (PT) was 57% (normal 75-120%) and activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) was normal.
