- Abstract
The article focuses on the community of letters in Renaissance Italy in chronological sequence. Topics include importance of humanism to their community of late-fifteenth-century readers with their personal aspect of humanism; and challenge in understanding humanist letters concerns epistolary collections with dynamic means of global communication until well into the nineteenth century.
