- Abstract
The article discusses Hormonal contraceptives, such as the hormonal intrauterine device (IUD), can help perimenopausal women manage symptoms and improve their quality of life. These contraceptives not only prevent unwanted pregnancies but also provide noncontraceptive benefits like treating abnormal uterine bleeding, relieving vasomotor symptoms and menstrual migraines, protecting against bone loss and endometrial issues, and reducing the risk of musculoskeletal issues and mood disorders.
