- Abstract
The article argues the necessity for the U.S. Supreme Court to adopt a refined, information-focused approach to Fourth Amendment privacy cases on nontrespassory government surveillance. Topics discussed include the importance for the Court to admit the application of the Fourth Amendment to information, history of Fourth Amendment doctrine in terms of government surveillance cases, and relationship between the obtainable information standard and third-party doctrine.
