- Title
Iberian *ortubeleś and ordumeles, Palaeo-Sardinian Ortumele. New horizons in substrata research.
- Abstract
The article discusses the semantic and structural properties of some Palaeo-Sardinian microtoponyms associated to the colour of mountain's grounds and streams, which enable to decipher one Iberian compound and established cross-linguistic research between Neolithic Sardinia and Old Iberia. It states that the international research on Iberian obtained a remarkable development as Gómez Moreno deciphered the syllabic structure of the Pre-Indoeuropean language. It says that the emergence of an interdisciplinary examination of Basque, Palaeo-Sardinian, and Iberian microtoponyms supports the comparative instances with semantic and typological tools. It mentions that a mainstream of research was already opened between Sardinia and Old Iberia.
