The article focuses on the treatment of perivesical cystic duct of the gallbladder. Topics discussed include analysis of laparoscopic cholecystectomy specimens which showed subacute and chronic cholecystitis; clinical relevance of diagnosis of adenomyosis related to the presence of the spiral; and use of hypothesis of anatomical variant of the cystic duct for addressing the same.
