- Abstract
The article discusses the study by a team of researchers from the National University of Singapore led by Huang Zhiwei which developed an in vivo molecular diagnostic system. It offers information on the diagnostic system which can detect pre-cancerous tissues in the gastrointestinal tract during endoscopy, in real-time. It notes that the system has been used in at least 500 patients in Singapore which is administered by the Ministry of Health's National Medical Research Council.
