The article presents previously unpublished translations of verse rubrics of medical charms and recipes found in the Middle English manuscript British Library MS Sloane 2457/2458. The contents of the manuscript are cataloged and listed. Five of the rubrics are translated and explained. Closing comments are given discussing the significance of the texts.
