- Abstract
The article titled "Immediate effect of pedaling on lower limb motor coordination in individuals with hemiparesis" presents an experimental study on the effect of pedaling on motor coordination in individuals with chronic hemiparesis following a cerebrovascular disease. The study will be conducted with 6 adults who meet the eligibility criteria, and tests such as "Get Up and Go" (TUG) and the lower limb motor coordination test (LEMOCOT) will be used. The aim is to train young researchers and obtain inputs for future studies and publications. On the other hand, the article also addresses adherence to recommendations from Evidence-Based Clinical Standards (ECBE) for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with complicated urinary tract infections. A retrospective study was conducted in a highly complex hospital institution in Colombia, identifying 44 patients and calculating an overall compliance index (OCI) based on ECBE indicators. The results show variable compliance in different aspects of patient care.
