- Abstract
The article presents two clinical cases: one about Takayasu arteritis (TAK) and another about eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GEPA). In the case of TAK, the treatment of a 29-year-old woman with symptoms such as weight loss, asthenia, and abdominal pain is described. TAK was diagnosed, and treatment with methylprednisolone, cyclophosphamide, and tocilizumab was initiated. In the case of GEPA, the case of a 58-year-old woman with manifestations in different systems, such as the skin, nervous system, and blood vessels, is described. Amputation was performed due to osteomyelitis, and the diagnosis of GEPA was confirmed through studies and the presence of anti-myeloperoxidase antibodies.
