- Title
Acute toxicities to larval rainbow trout of representative compounds detected in Great Lakes fish.
- Authors
Edsall, Carol
- Abstract
The article presents a study on the Oncorhynchus mykiss or larval rainbow trout (RBT) acute toxicity in Great Lakes, North America. It states that the lethal concentration (LC50) was measured by probit analysis and the significant differences among compound was examined by analysis of variance (ANOVA). Result shows that polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) compound-naphthalene was not detected in fish tissue, while its occurrence was caused by the lakes atmospheric transport.
