- Abstract
This historical study is meant to give an explanation in which it reviews the shape of relations between Egypt and Iran despite the rupture in the level of diplomatic representation between them, through Iran’s showing support for the Egyptian revolutionaries since the launch of their Arab Spring Revolution in 2011 in light of Iranian officials ’calls to stand by them in preparation for a serious diplomatic return between the two countries given The lack of praise for any development in its path for long years, especially since the restrictions and limitations imposed by Iran in the conduct of its international relations have reflected on its relations with Egypt and hindered its normalization, especially the interference in Egypt's internal affairs by Iran by escalating sectarian difference through its politicization. And there were Iranian attempts to reach a formula that would release that estrangement, but it did not find a way to success, even despite the relative relaxation that appeared in the Brotherhood’s rule of Egypt for only one year because it was a decision that required deliberation. Evidence is that even after the success of the revolution in 2013 in Egypt.
