- Abstract
Se sintetizaron exitosamente heterojuntas p-n de BiOI (BI) y Bi2WO6 (BW) a través de metodologías de química verde. Se obtuvieron diversas relaciones de BI/BW: 1:2, 1:1 y 2:1 (% en peso). Se realizaron decoraciones en la heterojunta 1BI/ 1BW con plata (Ag) y grafeno (NG), siguiendo protocolos verdes. La caracterización de las heterojuntas por DRX y Raman confirmó la coexistencia de las fases BI y BW con simetría tetragonal y ortorrómbica, respectivamente, además de la presencia de Ag-NPs y G. El Eg de las heterojuntas se encontró en el intervalo de 1.90-2.72 eV, mientras que en Ag/1BI/1BW y NG/1BI/BW fue de 1.72-1.84 eV. El pHPIE en Ag/1BI/1BW, NG/1BI/BW y Ag/NG/1BI/1BW resultó de 3.1, 3.5 y 2.4, mientras que el resto de las heterojuntas obtenidas mostraron carga superficial negativa en el intervalo de pH analizados. El estudió de la fotodegradación de tetraciclina (TC) en solución acuosa, usando las diversas heterojuntas p-n puras y decoradas, reveló que Ag/1BI/BW alcanzó la actividad catalítica más alta, consiguiendo un porcentaje de degradación de TC ) del 81 % en 120 min bajo irradiación con LEDs azules de baja potencia, 19 W. El consumo de energía del proceso resultó significativamente inferior, 0.0475 kWh, en comparación con lo reportado en literatura para el uso de lámparas de Xe, Hg, etc. Se encontró que la dosis de catalizador, la concentración inicial TC y el pH de la solución tienen un efecto importante en la actividad fotocatalítica de Ag/1BI/1BW. Además, las pruebas con agentes secuestrantes confirmaron que los y son las especies oxidativas principales causantes la degradación de TC. Se analizó el reuso de las heterojuntas y se determinó el grado de mineralización de TC por TOC.
