- Abstract
The article cites a study that attempted to ascertain whether the House-Tree-Person test could be used as a means to identify physically abused children. Initially, with the permission of both school officials and parents, researchers of the study obtained House-Tree-Person drawings from the Normal sample of 45 elementary school children. Researchers stated that based on these results, the 6-item test appears to be the most practical tool for the identification of abused children that has emerged from this research.
