- Abstract
The article presents information on a study which investigated the effect of changing hypnotists during hypnosis on the depth of hypnosis as measured by performance of specific task items throughout two hypnotic sessions. Nine coeds were alternately hypnotized by a senior hypnotist and one of four junior hypnotists. Subjects completed a cheek list of hypnotic performance and filled out a questionnaire for which they were tested after hypnosis. No observable difference in depth or measured task responses was noted from one hypnotist to the other during hypnosis or between hypnotic sessions.
