Abstract
Information about the topics discussed at the first summer meeting of the British Ecological Society held at Blakeney Point, England from May 21-25, 1920 is presented. The meeting tackled various ecological works such as the study on the root systems of sand dune ephemerals, the collection of insect fauna and changes in the vegetation at Blakeney. The event featured several members of the society including Professor F. W. Oliver.
