- Authors
Northrup, Herbert R.; Young, Harvey A.
- Abstract
The article discusses a project entitled "The Causes of Industrial Peace Under Collective Bargaining," which was published by the U.S. National Planning Association between 1948 and 1953 in order to prove that industrial peace would result from collective bargaining. A total number of twelve case studies and eighteen companies were surveyed during the process. There are nine causes of industrial peace and these include the acceptance of the collective bargaining process by the management, the acceptance of private ownership by the union, etc.
