- Title
COMMUNICATIONS - Market Structures and Wage-Push Inflation.
- Authors
Kuhn, Alfred
- Abstract
The article clarifies the conditions under which the concepts of market structures and wage-push inflation according to economist Alfred Kuhn might operate. It contends that Kuhn failed to clarify that the fluctuating demand for labor can be addressed by changing the quantum of employment offered to a given number of workers and by changing the number of workers but giving each worker a permanent quantum of employment. It argues that he also fails to explain the reason behind the occurrence of productivity-induced inflation.
