- Authors
Mahmoud-Davis, Sara
- Abstract
The article advocates the capabilities of the U.S. Congress to craft a federal vaccination law that will minimize the tensions among the government power, individual choice and public health. It also discusses the relationship between vaccinations and informed consent, including exemptions. It adds that public concern on state emergency laws and mass vaccination has been foreseen to grow as bioterrorism threats increase and new infectious diseases emerge.
