- Abstract
One of the main goals of treatment was to allow our patient to continue working; in patients with AP allergy this may be achieved when the condition is limited to skin. Keywords: ammonium persulfate; CAS no. 7727-54-0; case report; EC no. 231-786-5; occupational contact dermatitis EN ammonium persulfate CAS no. 7727-54-0 case report EC no. 231-786-5 occupational contact dermatitis 362 364 3 08/16/21 20210901 NES 210901 Ammonium persulfate (AP) is an inorganic salt used as an oxidizer and bleacher in hair dyes, and it is one of the main allergens involved in occupational contact dermatitis in hairdressers. Thorough understanding of the disease and compliance with preventive measures may allow the patient to continue daily activities with minimal or no skin lesions, as we show in this case.
