- Title
Multiple sclerosis relapse phenotype is an important, neglected, determinant of disease outcome – NO.

- Abstract
The author reflects on whether multiple sclerosis (MS) relapse phenotype is a neglected and important determinant of the disease outcome severity. He says that there is no evidence that late attack frequency and phenotype influence the long-term evolution and the risk of accumulating severe disability. He mentions evidence suggesting that biological mechanisms in the early stage of the disease associated with onset of progression can be key determinants of outcome severity.
