- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the importance of new innovations in biomedical sciences for improving health services. He mentions that the innovations have improved prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases which resulted in reduction in mortality for most diseases. He is critical about the roles of clinicians interested in health and health care disparities and their opportunity to make health systems effective by bringing insights and creativity for developing innovations in care delivery. Also investigated are the prospects of clinical trials, quality improvement methods, and transformation of service delivery systems.
