- Abstract
The article discusses the relationship between European Union (EU) law and international law and their significant developments. It explores the validity, rank and effectiveness of the latter to the former through a case between Yassin Abdullah Kadi and the Council of the EU and Commission of the European Communities. It examines the concept of legal pluralism and its implications within the legal order in Europe. It also highlights the concerns that the European lawyers have experienced due to the post impact of the Kadi case.
