- Abstract
The article highlights the Exercise Natural Fire 10 which was spearheaded by the U.S. Africa Command in Uganda from October 15 to 25, 2009. The East African nations which participated in the program included, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi. The U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) rendered a humanitarian assistance operation focusing on medical care and disaster management. The U.S. military provided the aircraft and other requirements concerning civil affairs. Medical and dental services were also offered to the local residents.
