- Abstract
The article provides information on the various methods of classifying stalkers based on different features of the stalker or/and the victim. It discusses the different methods include psychiatric symptoms and categorization, such as erotomanic type and delusional disorder, and the motive of the stalker and prior relationship with the victim, such as love-obsessional. It examines the merits of different factors and presents suggestion of a typology that permits for the exact understanding of the threat potential, mentality and motives of the stalker.
