- Abstract
The article discusses the contribution of qualified teacher librarians in promoting literacy among Australian students which become invisible for it was absorbed in the lessons of a teacher and projects. It argues that in spite of studies on the importance of books, library accessibility, and teacher librarian for students, the budget for libraries in Australia is decreasing. Tips on how teacher librarians can help stop the declining literacy in Australia are also presented.
