- Abstract
Aiming at the problem that polyester/ polyamide composite microfiber are not easily dyed with deep dark color and not easy to get good color fastness, the advantages and disadvantages of dyeing with different kind dyes are studied. In the experiment, disperse dye-reactive dye, disperse dye-direct dye, disperse dye-acid dye were used to dye the polyester/ polyamide composite microfibers. The results showed that the polyester-polyamide composite microfiber, which requires high dyeing depth but not high dyeing fastness, can be dyed with disperse-direct or disperse-acid dyestuff. The use of disperse-reactive dyestuff dyeing can make the polyester-polyamide composite microfiber fabric obtain a deep and intense color while still having good dyeing fastness, and the main color fastness ( washing and rubbing resistance) can still reach grade 4 and above at 12% (owf) dye dosage.
