Abstract
The article discusses the Kingston Prize, a competition for Canadian artists who have created portraits of Canadians. The competition is operated by the Kingston Arts Council and was founded in Kingston, Ontario. Images of portraits from the 2011 Kingston Prize are presented, including "Aladdin," by Richard Davis, "Orange Grandma," by Michael Bayne, and "Danielle 3," by Steven Spazuk.
