- Abstract
The article discusses a study that synthesized an unsaturated monomer bearing xanthane groups and allyloxyfluorescein (Al-Flu) from fluorescein and allyl bromide by etherification. It details the identification and characterization of a copolymer of allyloxyfluorescein and acrylamide [poly(Al-Flu-co-AM)] by using infrared (IR) spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. The temperature sensitivities of the fluorescence are examined.
