The article presents a study which synthesizes a series of aromatic and aliphatic co-polyureas from m-phenylene diamine (m-PDA), 4,4-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), and 1,6-diaminohexane (HAD) in DMAc. It states that the synthesis was done with a two-stage solution polymerization route. It adds that initial modulus and tensile strength of the samples decrease with increased HAD content.
