- Abstract
A letter is presented which discusses the isolation of trimethoprim resistance gene from the porcine Pasteurella aerogenes isolate 343. The Pasteurella collection was done at the Institute of Farm Animal Genetics. The isolate was reportedly identified to carry a dfrA1 gene. The research significance of the initial description of class 2-associated resistance gene libraries in members of the genus Pasteurella is highlighted.
