- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 41 year old male patient with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator who received a shock from the unit while playing basketball. A discussion of an electrocardiographic analysis which was conducted on the patient, and of the factors which could have led to the patient's shock, is presented.
