- Abstract
This article examines the armed forces of Germany and its allies against the Soviet Union during World War II. The author discusses the formation of volunteer military groups by various organizations within the armed forces, including the Wehrmacht, the Waffen SS, as well as by the Spanish military, particularly the División Azul (Blue Division). He also considers the use of propaganda by Germany and its allies that justified their conflict with the Soviet Union through the promotion of a campaign against Bolshevism.
