The article discusses power as a key aspect of the globalization process existing in recent history through the colonial diffrence approach. It states that power relations keeping cultural differences have been integrated by the coloniality of power. According to the author, the dissemination of hopelessness is an important condition for the stability of hegemonic globalization.
