The article focuses on issues raised by California's sanctuary legislation passed in response to policy changes by the U.S. President Trump administration relating to immigration. It mentions about the enactment of Immigrant Worker Protection Act which places limitation on private employer's interactions with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). It also mentions about ICE inspections of I-9 employment verification; and enactment of Immigrant Worker Protection Act for the same.
