- Abstract
The article look at the Australia's method of offshore processing using third party countries which is increasingly forceful stance against waterborne arrivals seeking asylum as of December 2014. Topics discussed include Australia's immigration policy and Australia's legal obligations under international treaties and laws; the incident when Australia refused permission for the Norwegian freighter carrying 438 rescued refugees to enter in the country; and need of reform its immigration law.
