- Abstract
The article presents a comparison of the two methods used for pulmonary haemorrhage (EIPH) detection in horses. The methods include endoscopic detection of tracheal blood and cytological bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid evaluation. The capability of BAL to identify haemosiderophages and detect microscopic bleeding was mentioned.
