The article focuses on a biosecurity guidance published by the Great Britain's Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs (Defra) to protect poultry against avian influenza being introduced by wild birds. It states that publication of the guidance follows a case of H5N8 highly pathogenic avian influenza on a duck breeding farm located in Yorkshire, England.
