- Abstract
The article discusses computer hackers in relation to law firm risk and liability in the U.S. as of June 2013, focusing on damages in America and an analysis of the reported vulnerability of law firms to cyberattacks. American attorneys and the development of cyberattack prevention strategies are addressed, along with former U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and cybersecurity-related executive orders. American and global technological innovations are examined, as well as the social aspects of the Internet and intellectual property thefts.
