- Title
The Sensitivity of the Rh--anti-Rh System to Ordered Water of Hydration.

- Abstract
An assessment has been made of haemagglutination titration studies by the albumin displacement method with an Rh anti-D reagent in the presence of alkali metal chlorides, alkaline-earth chlorides and non-electrolytes. No evidence was found to support the hypothesis that the Rh-anti-Rh system is critically sensitive to the state of ordered water of hydration in the suspending medium. Negative control tests to detect non-specific agglutination are essential in experiments of this kind.
