The article discusses a case study of a 72-year-old woman undergoing peritoneal dialysis who presented with confusion and lethargy, accompanied by retiform purpura and elevated creatinine levels, ultimately diagnosed with calcific uremic arteriolopathy. Topics include the clinical presentation and management of this rare, life-threatening syndrome characterized by vascular calcification, highlighting the challenges in its treatment and the high mortality associated with the disease.
