- Title
SQUIDs for everything.
- Abstract
An interview with John Clarke, the developer of superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) concept is presented. When asked on when he began working with superconductivity, he refers to his doctorate project in Cavendish Laboratory at Cambridge University in 1964 when he was a research student. He mentions that SQUID is a sensitive technology that gives access to other fields like geophysics. He states that magnetoencephalography is one of his successful work in medical applications.
