- Authors
Cliteur, Paul
- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on the response by Philip Ryan to his article “State and Religion Against the Backdrop of Religious Radicalism.” He discusses the difference between the point of view of Ryan and his own, which focuses on multicultural state and secular state, respectively. He also highlights Ryan's view for the threats in the submission of bureaucrats to legitimized politicians in democracy, saying that such idea misleads to resistance by bureaucrats.
