- Abstract
This article, titled "The Effect of Different Nutrients on the Rooting of African Violet Plantlets," explores the impact of various nutrients on the growth of African violet plantlets. The study aimed to determine if fertilizing the plantlets and the type of fertilizer used would affect their rooting. The experiment involved growing the plantlets in nutrient solutions that were missing specific elements. The results showed that providing plantlets with a complete fertilizer solution led to the best root growth, while the absence of certain elements hindered root development. The study also found that micronutrients were not as critical for root growth as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Overall, the findings suggest that using a complete fertilizer solution can promote strong root growth and plant establishment.
