- Abstract
The article discusses a numerus clausus principle in property law which holds that property can only be conveyed in certain standardized forms and discusses possibilities of this principle in intellectual property law. It presents the effects of numerus clausus on property rights system and reflects on the effects of absence of this principle in intellectual property law. It suggests areas of intellectual property law that would benefit from imposition of this principle including copyrights.
