- Title
THE SCENIC PROTECTIONS OF THE CLEAN AIR ACT.
- Authors
NAGLE, JOHN COPELAND
- Abstract
The article focuses on the issue of scenic protection at national parks of the U.S. under the U.S. Clean Air Act (CAA). It discusses the example of Theodore Roosevelt National Park (TRNP) in North Dakota, to examine the relationship between air pollution and national parks. It depicts that the implementation of the CAA's provisions will not necessarily accomplish the statutory goal and the cooperative federalism framework faces problems in context of the visibility of scenic landscapes.
