- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the use of thiol-ene photopolymerization in injectable intraocular lenses (IOLs). It mentions that poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA) and pentaerythritol tetrakis(3-mercaptopropionate) (PTMP) samples have similar hydrophilicity and transparency from PEGDA by homophotopolymerization. Results suggest that thiol-ene photopolymerization is a potential method in obtaining ideal injectable IOLs.
