- Abstract
The author discusses how the nonprofit organization Feast of Crispian (FoC) offers veterans the opportunity to participate in performances of William Shakespeare's plays. Topics explored include the way Shakespeare's characters embodied humanity and emotions such as losses and joys, the provision of arts-based programs by FoC for the emotional reeducation of veterans, and the imaginary events described to veterans before introducing them to acting scenes.
